Privacy & analytics
ComicConScott uses first-party analytics to understand which pages and collections visitors enjoy. Measurement began October 30, 2026.
We store daily totals for page views, visits, referral websites, broad device categories, country, photo enlargements, archive searches, outbound website clicks, and reading milestones (30 seconds of visible page time and scrolling through 90% of a page).
We do not store IP addresses, names, email addresses, search terms, full referring URLs, or persistent visitor identifiers in this analytics database. We do not record your screen or keystrokes. Search tracking records only that a search happened.
A temporary record in your browser tab groups activity into visits, expiring after 30 minutes without activity. It is not sent to the server as an identifier. A preference saved in this browser remembers your opt-out. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also disable collection. Analytics are stored with our website hosting provider; ordinary hosting and security logs are separate.
Visits are approximate tab-based sessions, not a count of distinct people. Blocking scripts or opting out can reduce measured totals. For questions, email sbrooks1@gmail.com.
